Rap artist Mikko Kuoppala, known as Pyhimys, has addressed allegations regarding sexual messaging with author Saana Airtola. In an interview on Sanna Ukkolan Ukkola, Kuoppala claimed he engaged in sexual image messaging because he did not want to reject Airtola due to her self-destructive tendencies.

Airtola previously reported that her communication with the musician began when she was 12 years old and evolved into sexual messaging after she reached adulthood. While Kuoppala initially denied the nature of the messaging in previous interviews, he has since admitted to sending revealing images at Airtola's request.

Kuoppala stated that his intentions were to mentor Airtola in her writing rather than to exploit her. He also alleged that Airtola's interest was obsessive and claimed she had threatened to destroy his life. He described the situation as creating a ‘very suspicious image’ but maintained that the messaging was part of Airtola's fantasy.
