Mikko Riipinen appointed as new coach of CSM CSU Oradea

Mikko Riipinen has signed a two-season contract as the new coach of the basketball club CSM CSU Oradea. The 39-year-old will be assisted by Ciprian Enache and Karsai Dávid.

Riipinen brings extensive international experience, having previously coached the Norrköping Dolphins in Sweden and BG Göttingen and Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany. He will also maintain his current role as the coach of the Swedish national team.

Riipinen stated that he chose CSM CSU Oradea due to its reputation in Europe and its potential for development. His primary objectives are to improve the team's value and competitiveness both domestically and in European competitions.
