Miko Marczyk holds third place at Ceredigion Rally
Miko Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk of the ORLEN Team hold third place in the general classification of the Ceredigion Rally, the sixth and penultimate round of the European Rally Championship (ERC). After completing 12 of the 16 planned special stages and covering over 127 kilometers, the duo remains within 7.5 seconds of the leaders.
During the Saturday portion of the event, the crew maintained a consistent pace, frequently finishing in the top three and winning the Aberystwyth super special stage. They currently trail former WRC factory drivers Kris Meeke and Teemu Suninen. Marczyk noted that while competing against WRC-experienced drivers is challenging, the team’s pace remains solid.
In qualifying, Jakub Matulka and Damian Syty of the ORLEN LOTTO Rally Team secured sixth place on the 6.41 km Pendam stage, finishing 5.571 seconds behind the leaders, Teemu Suninen and Antti Haapali.
