Mikri Arktos celebrates 30 years of ‘Mikri Patrida’ song cycle

To mark the 30th anniversary of the release of the song cycle ‘Mikri Patrida’, the musical group Mikri Arktos is organizing a series of musical performances across Greece and Cyprus. The cycle features music by Giorgos Andreou and lyrics by Paraskevas Karasoulos.

While the songs from this emblematic album have been performed by many Greek singers, they have never before been presented live as a complete, unified cycle by the original creators. The performances will feature Andreou on piano and Karasoulos providing narration, alongside renowned performers such as Mario Frankoulis, Pantelis Theocharidis, and Eleni Tsaligopoulou, as well as newer generation artists Korina Legaki and Apostolos Kitsos. The Thessaloniki Municipal Orchestra, conducted by Anastasios Symeonidis, will also participate in the events.
