Milagro begins 2026 patron saint festivities

The town of Milagro has commenced its 2026 patron saint festivities in honor of San Blas. The celebrations officially began on Saturday, August 29, with a traditional rocket launch.

Mikel Remón Cirauqui, the Councilor for Festivities, lit the rocket from the Town Hall balcony. During the ceremony, Remón expressed gratitude to his family and paid tribute to deceased individuals Emilio Vallejo and Julián Calvo 'Gallina'. The launch marks the start of nine days of scheduled celebrations for the community.
