Milan: 25-year-old rescued after two-day kidnapping and assault
Carabinieri have rescued a 25-year-old man following a violent sequence of events in Milan that began with an ambush in Rozzano and ended with a two-day kidnapping in the Gratosoglio district.
On the morning of September 8, witnesses reported hearing shots near a nursery school in Rozzano. A group of five men reportedly targeted the young man, but he managed to flee the initial scene. However, later that evening, he was intercepted in the Gratosoglio area by a much larger group of approximately twenty people.
Investigators state the victim was brutally assaulted with sticks and an extinguisher until he lost consciousness. He was then bound with adhesive tape, gagged, and held captive in a public housing apartment on via Saponaro. The victim was discovered by Carabinieri on Thursday evening following an anonymous tip, found injured and tied up inside the residence.
