Milan Cathedral celebrates Solemnity of its Dedication

The Roman Catholic communities of the Diocese of Milan are celebrating the Solemnity of the Dedication of the Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano).

The observance includes specific liturgical readings, such as passages from the Prophet Baruch and the Book of Revelation, emphasizing the greatness of God's house and the concept of the New Jerusalem. The celebration serves as a symbolic reflection on the unity of the Church and the sanctity of the cathedral as a place of prayer and encounter with the divine.
