Milan celebrates Digital Design Days 10th anniversary with AI‑focused creative summit
The 10th edition of Digital Design Days (DDD) took place in Milan, drawing more than 3,500 participants from 48 countries and adding to the event’s cumulative audience of over 240,000 designers, founders, technologists and brand leaders. The conference highlighted the impact of artificial intelligence on design, with Milkinside founder Gleb Kuznetsov delivering a keynote titled “Judgment & Taste in the AI Era.” Kuznetsov argued that as AI can generate competent work quickly, human qualities such as taste, empathy, memory and lived experience become increasingly valuable to create memorable output.
At the same time, est Magazine’s “Italy by Invitation” issue showcased Milan’s interior‑design heritage, featuring private homes, design studios and recent exhibitions that blend historic craftsmanship with contemporary practice. The spread underscores Milan’s role as a hub where classic Italian design tradition meets modern, technology‑driven creativity.
