AC Milan sticks to €50 million price for Rafael Leão as Turkish clubs compete

AC Milan has set a minimum €50 million transfer fee for forward Rafael Leão and has ruled out any loan‑with‑option‑to‑buy arrangement. The club’s owner Gerry Cardinale made the stance clear during meetings with interested parties.

Both Istanbul giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have expressed concrete interest. Galatasaray has offered a net salary of about €10 million per year, while Fenerbahçe’s package is reported at €7‑8 million net plus bonuses. Both clubs have floated figures in the €40‑50 million range for the transfer, which Milan considers insufficient.

Leão’s contract runs to 2028, and he has indicated a preference for a move to a top European league rather than the Turkish Süper Lig. No Premier‑League or La‑Liga clubs have presented firm offers so far, leaving the Turkish dispute as the primary hurdle in the summer window.
