Milan Diocese hosts conference for consecrated widows

The Ordo viduarum is hosting a conference titled ‘Vedove consacrate nella Chiesa oggi’ (Consecrated Widows in the Church Today) from September 4 to September 6 at the Centro pastorale ambrosiano in Seveso.

Archbishop Mario Delpini will preside over a Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, September 6, at the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio in Milan. The event is part of a broader gathering of the Ordo viduarum for churches in Northern Italy. The group consists of widows who dedicate themselves to prayer and service to the Church, a practice that was established in the Diocese of Milan by Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini in 2000.
