Milan: Elderly woman robbed of 70,000 euro watch in Porta Venezia

A 70-year-old woman was robbed in broad daylight in the Porta Venezia area of Milan on Thursday afternoon. The victim was walking on Viale Majno when a young man approached her from behind and forcibly tore a Patek Philippe watch, valued at approximately 70,000 euros, from her left wrist. The assailant also took a ring from her hand.

Following the attack, the suspect fled to a waiting accomplice on an electric scooter, and both individuals escaped toward Via Bellotti. A passerby witnessed the incident and heard the victim's screams. The woman sustained only a superficial scratch on her forearm and did not require medical attention. Police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators. This incident follows a similar robbery in Piazza Diaz two days prior, where a Lebanese tourist lost a Patek Philippe watch worth roughly 46,000 euros.
