Galleria Gracis in Milan will host a posthumous exhibition dedicated to the renowned photographer Franco Fontana, beginning October 6. The project was developed in collaboration with Fontana during his final months and is being realized alongside his wife, Uti, and daughter, Cristina.

Fontana, who passed away on August 29 at the age of 92, was a pivotal figure in contemporary photography known for his revolutionary use of color and light. His work, spanning over sixty years, transformed landscapes into poetic and abstract visual languages.

The exhibition, titled ‘Atanasio Soldati – Franco Fontana: esplorazioni tra forma e colore’, will feature a dialogue between the works of Fontana and Atanasio Soldati. The showcase aims to explore their shared research into form, color, and space.
