Milan inaugurates new Lotto extraction hall
A new Lotto extraction hall has been inaugurated in Milan as part of a technological innovation program following the new Lotto concession awarded to Brightstar Lottery in July 2025. The facility includes a 200-square-meter hall, a dedicated technical control room, a testing room, and specialized operational spaces.
Crucially, the Milan site serves as the new national Disaster Recovery site for Lotto extractions, capable of assuming full operational duties to ensure service continuity, security, and resilience.
The inauguration marks the completion of a broader technological overhaul of the sales network. While the original commitment was to complete the network renewal within 12 months, the program was finished in eight months. This process involved replacing 300,000 devices across 35,000 sales points with latest-generation terminals and advanced technological platforms.
