Milan Knežević leads DNP delegation to Republican National Convention

Milan Knežević, president of Montenegro's Democratic People's Party (DNP), announced from Dallas, Texas, that a party delegation is attending the Republican National Convention. The delegation includes Knežević, Deputy Prime Minister Milun Zogović, Maja Vukićević, and Jovana Todorović.

Knežević described the visit as a “great diplomatic offensive” under the slogan “Make Montenegro Great.” He noted that the DNP is the only Montenegrin political entity attending the event, which features speakers such as Donald Trump and JD Vance. He emphasized that the party aims to maintain equal partnerships with the United States, Russia, and the European Union, asserting that Montenegro must pursue EU integration without sacrificing its national identity or independence.

During the convention, the delegation plans to hold several meetings to strengthen international ties.
