Milan Lane Gutović reveals real-life inspiration for Srećko Šojić

Actor Milan Lane Gutović has shared that his iconic character Srećko Šojić, known for the cult series “Tesna koža,” was inspired by a real person from his childhood. The character's distinctive speech patterns and mannerisms were modeled after a mason named Toma, a native of Piroc who worked on a school in Kumodraž.

Gutović recalled that as a child, he was constantly in the company of Toma, finding the man's personality and way of speaking highly engaging. The actor first utilized this specific manner of speech in the television drama “Barabe,” written by Milenko Vučetić and directed by Aleksandar Mandić, before the character evolved into the widely recognized figure seen in later productions.
