Milan Malpensa Airport hosts Rock Icons art exhibition

The “Rock Icons. Aerei e aeroporti nelle leggende del Rock’n’Roll” exhibition has launched at Milan Malpensa Airport. Promoted by SEA Aeroporti di Milano, the showcase is located in the Porta di Milano exhibition space at Terminal 1.

Created by artist Sara Forte, the project integrates large-format painting, digital language, and video installations. The works explore the historical connection between the global expansion of commercial aviation and the explosion of rock 'n' roll between the 1950s and 1970s.

The exhibition features seven legendary musical acts: The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and U2. These are presented through light installations using the Quadruslight technique. The exhibition will remain open to passengers until January 31, 2027.
