Milan midfielders Estupinan and Musah criticised after friendly draw with Inter

In a preseason friendly in Perth, AC Milan drew 1‑1 with Inter Milan. Manager Rubén Amorim questioned the suitability of midfielders Pervis Estupinan and Yunus Musah for his 3‑4‑2‑1 system. Estupinan entered at the start of the second half, struggled with defensive reads, contributed little offensively and received a yellow card. Musah started, showed energy and generosity but lacked positional discipline and control of the midfield tempo.

Both players were judged technically inadequate, casting doubt on a possible transfer of Estupinan to Aston Villa and suggesting Milan may look to off‑load the two to free resources for more suitable sign‑ins.
