Milan Pawelec wins Moto2 European Championship at MotorLand
Milan Pawelec has secured his second consecutive Moto2 European Championship title at the MotorLand Aragon circuit in Spain. Despite facing technical difficulties in the first race of the penultimate round, where an engine failure prevented him from finishing, Pawelec recovered in the second race.
In the decisive second race, Pawelec overcame a fifth-place start to overtake his main rival, Unai Orradre, with three laps remaining. This victory mathematically clinched the championship before the final round in Misano. Pawelec has demonstrated significant dominance this season, recording seven wins across ten starts.
Other notable results from the weekend included Alessandro Morosi winning the first Moto2 race and Fernando Bujosa taking victory in the Moto3 category. Carlos Cano also secured a win in the Junior Moto3 class during the first race.
