Italy business sectors focus on innovation and sustainability

Various business and industrial sectors in Italy are focusing on innovation, sustainability, and urban revitalization through upcoming conferences and strategic initiatives.

In the energy sector, Heat Pump Technologies 2027 will focus on integrating renewable sources, electrification, and energy management. Meanwhile, the transport company Italo has announced a decarbonization roadmap aiming for a 90% reduction in emissions by 2050, with targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.

Urban and commercial development is a key theme, with Confcommercio Taranto and the Tuscany Region organizing events to combat commercial desertification and promote local commerce through urban regeneration and the concept of ‘Natural Shopping Centers.’
