Milania Giudice receives professional care after airport incident
Milania Giudice, daughter of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice, is receiving professional care following a mental health crisis and a confrontation at Tampa International Airport.
On September 23, police were called to the airport after reports that Milania was experiencing a “mental breakdown” and “suicidal thoughts.” According to incident reports, Milania, who had recently been released from a hospital, briefly separated from her family and a counselor before running through the terminal. She was located by officers approximately 10 to 12 minutes later and escorted to her gate. No arrests were made.
A video posted to social media by Milania, which was quickly deleted, showed a heated exchange between Milania, Teresa, and sister Gia Giudice. In the footage, Milania can be heard telling her mother to “shut the f*ck up” while police stood nearby.
Milania’s manager, Maria DeSantis, stated that the 20-year-old is “under the care of professionals” and is navigating an incredibly difficult period, compounded by the recent death of her best friend, Victoria Zardoya. Her father, Joe Giudice, also expressed support, noting that the family asks for privacy as they focus on her well-being.
This incident follows a May arrest in New Jersey, where Milania was charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute. She has since been enrolled in anger management classes.
