Milano Moda Graduate celebrates emerging Italian fashion talent
The twelfth edition of Milano Moda Graduate, an initiative by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), took place at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan. The event serves as a platform for emerging talent from Italian fashion schools to showcase their collections.
Matilde Bonechi, a student from Istituto Marangoni, won the fashion design category. The jury was led by Luca Lisandroni, CEO of Brunello Cucinelli SpA. Additionally, the YKK Prize, awarded by YKK Italia, was presented to Costanza Barbieri and Giulio Censori from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). Corinne Zanini from IUAV Università di Venezia received a special mention.
Alongside the competition, the CNMI provided an educational program for students, including workshops on sustainability, production techniques, and digital communication. The event coincided with Milan Fashion Week, during which other major institutions such as NABA and Accademia del Lusso also presented student collections.
