Milan's 2-2 draw with Celtic showcases Amorim's new tactics

AC Milan opened the pre‑season with a 2‑2 comeback draw away to Celtic. Coach Ruben Amorim's first ideas were evident: a possession‑based approach paired with aggressive high pressing. After trailing 0‑2, Milan equalised in the second half, largely through Francesco Camarda, who scored twice within seven minutes, and Samuel Chukwueze, who provided the assist for the final goal and displayed renewed freedom in attack.

Analysts noted that while the performance highlighted Amorim's tactical direction, the team still needs additional signings to fully implement his system. The recent arrivals Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila already fit the required profiles, but further additions—particularly attacking midfielders and possibly another centre‑back—are considered essential for the upcoming season.
