Milan's Curva Sud renews season tickets to defend club despite ownership criticism
The Curva Sud ultras group of AC Milan announced that it will renew all its season‑ticket subscriptions for the 2026‑27 campaign. While many fans called for a boycott to pressure the American owners, the group said a boycott would only harm the club financially and enable the owners to re‑sell seats at higher prices.
In its statement the ultras stressed that subscriptions generate only about 5 % of Milan’s total revenue—roughly €20 million—and that the boycott would not empty the stadium but would accelerate the replacement of genuine supporters with tourists. The group framed the renewal as a defensive act to preserve the club’s history and identity, rejecting the owners’ profit‑first approach and urging supporters to keep the stands filled as a sign of resistance.
