Milazzo football club intensifies preseason training and hosts staff visit in Galati Mamertino

Italian Serie D side SSD Milazzo continued its summer preparation in Galati Mamertino, mixing intensive athletic work with recovery periods. Head coach Gaetano Catalano gave the squad a half‑day rest after recent training loads, while several players completed medical fitness checks. The team held a joint training session with Eccellenza club Messana, using the match as a test of tactical and physical progress. The club also indicated it may add an attacking reinforcement to trim the roster to about 24‑25 players for the upcoming season.

Club president Anselmo Taranto, vice‑president Renato Maiorana, general manager Salvatore Costantino and other shareholders visited the camp, underscoring executive support. During the visit, former player Michele Cataldi was appointed vice‑coach, joining Catalano on the technical staff. The updated squad list includes goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards such as Daniele Cucinotta, Christian Cugnata and Agostino Mascari.
