Milena Apostolaki leads PASOK delegation to Serres

Milena Apostolaki, a PASOK official and Member of Parliament, led a party delegation to the Serres region on Wednesday to meet with local stakeholders. Her itinerary included a visit to the Kasta Tomb, where she criticized the government for delays in making the site accessible, and meetings with local officials in Serres.

A significant portion of the visit focused on the agricultural sector in Draviskos. Apostolaki met with farmers and livestock breeders who expressed extreme distress regarding rising production costs, such as fuel prices, and the lack of support for younger generations entering the profession.

Apostolaki criticized the New Democracy government and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, specifically citing mismanagement within OPEKEPE and the failure to address issues like livestock disease and demographic decline in the region. She stated that the agricultural community is being marginalized and driven toward a “violent exit” from their profession due to state inefficiency.
