Milena Moreira announces support for Lula

Milena Moreira, the runner-up of Big Brother Brasil 26 known as Tia Milena, announced her support for Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the second round of the presidential elections. In a video shared on social media, she expressed regret for her previous support of Jair Bolsonaro.

Moreira explained that her former political stance was heavily influenced by her social circle, which consisted primarily of Bolsonaro supporters in wealthy environments. She noted that while she was once treated as part of these families, she felt discarded once she experienced social inequality and racial dynamics firsthand.

During a mobilization event using the colors of the Brazilian flag, she stated that national colors belong to the country rather than a specific political party. She concluded her announcement by stating, “If I changed, Brazil can too.”
