Miles Sadler discusses West Virginia University commitment and goals

Five-star recruit and West Virginia University freshman point guard Miles Sadler has discussed his decision to commit to the Mountaineers and his approach to the upcoming basketball season.

Sadler credited coach Ross Hodge for his recruitment, noting that Hodge’s willingness to be honest about Sadler’s flaws rather than offering empty flattery helped him make his decision. Sadler stated that this transparency provided a realistic view of the development required to succeed at the collegiate level.

As the team begins preseason practices, Sadler expressed a focus on team integration and personal improvement. Despite the high expectations surrounding his status as a top national recruit, he emphasized a desire to control what he can and contribute to the team's success in the Big 12.
