Miles Teller to star in ‘Copperhead’ thriller with Jason Momoa and Tenoch Huerta

Black Label Media has announced major casting additions for the upcoming crime thriller ‘Copperhead’. Joining lead actor Miles Teller are Jason Momoa, Tenoch Huerta, Adria Arjona, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Directed by John Swab from a script by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott, the film is set in West Texas. The plot follows a veteran detective and a young federal agent who must work together to uncover a conspiracy within their elite task force after an undercover drug deal turns violent.

Production is scheduled to begin in September. The film’s international sales label, Black Bear, is preparing to pitch the project at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this month.
