Mileta Božović disputes asset seizures during drug trafficking trial

During a trial at the High Court in Podgorica, Mileta Božović, accused of membership in a criminal group allegedly formed by Vaso Ulić, Slobodan Kašćelan, and Radoje Zvicer, contested the seizure of his assets.

Božović claimed that the Special State Prosecutor's Office has been using his seized official BMW for two years. He also stated that authorities seized a 20-year-old motorcycle, a quad bike he claims belongs to a neighbor, and two kilograms of gold that he had kept in safes after closing a gold shop.

Božović, who is currently on an intravenous drip, reported losing 15 kilograms due to a hunger strike in Spuž prison. His defense counsel argued that none of the evidence presented relates to the criminal charges against him.
