Miley Cyrus honors late godmother Dolly Parton at Hollywood Bowl
During her concert series at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Miley Cyrus shared an emotional tribute to her late godmother, Dolly Parton. The singer described a perceived paranormal experience at her home following Parton's death.
Cyrus recounted placing a flower and a candle before a mannequin of Parton in her bedroom. After silently asking for a sign, the hallway lights reportedly began to flicker, an event witnessed by her partner, Maxx Morando. Cyrus told the audience, “I know Dolly is here with me tonight.”
The performer, who previously described Parton as an “honorary mother,” performed the classic song “Jolene” as part of the tribute. The two shared a long-standing personal and professional bond, dating back to Cyrus's childhood and her role in the series Hannah Montana.
