Miley Cyrus releases tenth studio album ‘Bass Persuades’
Miley Cyrus, now performing simply as ‘Miley’, has released her tenth studio album, ‘Bass Persuades’, via Atlantic Records. The project marks a stylistic shift toward dance-pop, New Wave, and electronic sounds, following her previous explorations in rock and experimental music.
The album features ten tracks, including the lead single ‘Bass Persuades’ and ‘Different Religion’, a collaboration with the band Model/Actriz. Other notable tracks include ‘Let’s Get Married’, a romantic song dedicated to her fiancé Maxx Morando, and ‘Neon Signs’, featuring Andrew Wyatt.
In recent interviews, Cyrus reflected on her close bond with her late godmother, country music legend Dolly Parton, who passed away on August 25. Cyrus shared that their final conversations centered on this new musical direction and discussed the balance between maintaining a public persona and staying authentic.
To promote the release, Cyrus is scheduled to perform two sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18.
