Miley Cyrus scores first No. 1 album since 2013 with ‘Bass Persuades’

Miley Cyrus has reached the top of the Billboard 200 with her new album, ‘Bass Persuades’, marking her first number one album in 13 years. The record debuted with 62,000 first-week units, following her move to Atlantic Records earlier this year.

To support the release, Cyrus collaborated with photographer and director Mert Alas to create music videos for the tracks ‘Bass Persuades’, ‘Let’s Get Married’, and ‘Different Religion’. The visuals are intended to represent various facets of her artistic career. Cyrus is scheduled to perform the new material live at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18.
