Miley releases ‘Different Religion’ music video

Miley has released the official music video for ‘Different Religion,’ a collaboration with Model/Actriz featuring vocals from frontman Cole Hayden. Directed by Mert Alas, the video supports the track from her tenth studio album, ‘Bass Persuades.’

The song utilizes religious imagery, such as references to paradise, Jesus, and angels, to metaphorically describe intense romantic and physical attraction. Miley has described the track as an exploration of desire and the search for a connection that balances stability with a sense of danger.

‘Bass Persuades’ marks Miley’s first number one on the Billboard 200 in over a decade and serves as her debut project with Atlantic Records. Following the album's success, she is scheduled to perform two sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18.
