Émilien Jacquelin commits to Decathlon-CMA CGM for 2027

Olympic biathlon champion Émilien Jacquelin has decided to continue his professional cycling career with the Decathlon-CMA CGM team for the 2027 season. The 31-year-old athlete, who recently transitioned from biathlon, chose to remain with the French formation despite interest from other teams, including Unibet Rockets and TotalEnergies.

Jacquelin’s transition began with a trainee position in the team’s Conti development squad. Following his participation in races such as the Tour du Limousin, the Tour of Britain, and the Grand Prix de Fourmies, he has committed to a more demanding program for 2027. This decision means he will not participate in the biathlon World Cup during the 2026-2027 winter season, focusing instead on establishing himself within the professional cycling peloton.
