Military Academy begins selection for 208th Fedeltà course

Aspiring officer candidates from the Italian Army and the Carabinieri have arrived in Modena to begin a 30-day internship. This internship serves as the final stage of the selection process for the 208th ‘Fedeltà’ course at the Military Academy.

The selection process saw nearly 10,000 applications this year, involving written exams, physical efficiency tests, psychophysical assessments, and language and mathematics evaluations. Following the internship and the establishment of merit rankings, 190 Army officer cadets and 70 Carabinieri officer cadets will be admitted to the course.

The training program combines military instruction, physical training, and university education. For the upcoming academic year, the Strategic Sciences degree program for Army officers will expand to include two new specializations: management and philosophy, aimed at enhancing critical thinking and decision-making skills.
