Military Fire Brigade conducts safety workshops in Brazilian schools

The Military Fire Brigade is conducting educational initiatives in Brazilian schools to promote safety and prevention. In Sinop, students from the Euraide de Paula Municipal School participated in a lecture titled “Eu digo não às queimadas! Diga você também” (I say no to burning! You say it too). The program focuses on the risks of wildfires, their impact on human health, and environmental preservation through a cultural contest involving drawings and rhymes.

Similarly, in Morro da Fumaça, 7th-grade students participated in training through the Civil Defense in School Program (PDCE). Led by the Military Fire Brigade, the sessions covered first aid, emergency exit procedures, and safe responses to various risks, including extreme weather events. These programs aim to equip students with practical knowledge to protect themselves and act responsibly during emergencies, encouraging them to share this culture of prevention with their families.
