Military painters' exhibition opens in Ankara
An exhibition featuring works by military painters has opened at the Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu Exhibition Hall within the Ankara Art and Sculpture Museum. The event, which runs until October 25, focuses on the theme of the Turkish world.
Officials noted that the history of painting in Turkey originated from map-drawing lessons at the Artillery School in 1795 during the era of Selim III. The exhibition serves as part of the activities for the 2026 Turkish World Tourism Capital.
