Military Region 7 supports border residential settlements

Military Region 7 has implemented a project to build residential settlements adjacent to border militia posts, aimed at stabilizing and securing border areas. Since its launch in 2019, the initiative has established 59 residential points featuring over 800 houses.

In Khanh Hung Commune, Tay Ninh Province, the project has transformed previously arid and desolate land into productive areas. Military Region 7 provided 100 million VND in support for each of the five permanent houses built near the local militia post in August 2020. These developments, including improved patrol roads and access to electricity, have facilitated local trade and helped residents transition to more stable livelihoods, such as lotus farming and livestock rearing.
