Unidentified drone-like object found in Lubaczów, Poland

An unidentified flying object resembling a small drone crashed onto an uninhabited private property in Lubaczów, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, on the afternoon of October 21, 2026. The object, described as being several dozen centimeters long and constructed from lightweight materials such as plastic or styrofoam, broke into several pieces upon impact.

Emergency services, including the Military Gendarmerie, the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), and the prosecutor's office, were deployed to the scene. As a precaution, residents within a 150-meter radius were evacuated, and the area was cordoned off to check for potential explosive, biological, or chemical threats. No injuries or property damage were reported.

While unofficial reports suggested the object might be a smuggling or reconnaissance drone, authorities have not yet confirmed its origin or purpose. The investigation is ongoing to determine the nature of the craft.
