Military warns of laser threats to pilots near Łask base

The military has issued a warning following an incident where a laser beam was directed at an aircraft near the 32nd Tactical Aviation Base in Łask. Such incidents can temporarily blind pilots, causing disorientation and making it difficult to monitor cockpit information or observe the surrounding environment.

Captain Marek Sobieraj, spokesperson for the 32nd Tactical Aviation Base, noted that the base hosts various aircraft, including F-16 and F-35 fighters, and that these laser strikes pose a danger to all units. The military emphasized that the beam's origin can be identified and reported to the appropriate services. The incident is currently under investigation by the prosecutor's office.
