Miljevac Primary School construction in Podstrana advances as planned

Mayor Mijo Dropuljić of Podstrana visited the construction site of the new Miljevac Primary School together with chief Božen Živaljić. The project, launched in February, is proceeding on schedule. About 75 % of the reinforced‑concrete foundation strips are in place, and excavations for the future parking area and its retaining walls are nearly finished.

The modern school will accommodate roughly 600 pupils, featuring 21 classrooms, a two‑section sports hall, a smaller hall, a kitchen and a dining area. Upon completion it will enable single‑shift teaching, improving educational conditions for children in Podstrana and raising the quality of life for young families in the municipality.

Local officials expressed satisfaction with the construction dynamics and pledged continued monitoring to ensure the project meets its planned deadlines.
