Milla Jovovich joins cast of Heated Rivalry season two

Milla Jovovich, Kevin Zegers, and Paul Gross have joined the cast of the second season of the hockey romance series ‘Heated Rivalry’. The production is currently underway and draws inspiration from Rachel Reid’s book series, specifically ‘The Long Game’, ‘Role Model’, and ‘Tough Guy’.

Jovovich will portray Dr. Galina Molchalina, a Russian-speaking psychologist who serves as a therapist to the character Ilya (played by Connor Storrie). The role is expected to involve emotional scenes as the character processes childhood trauma and relationship struggles.

Kevin Zegers has been cast as Coach Wiebe, the coach for the Ottawa Centaurs. Paul Gross will play Commissioner Roger Crowell, a controversial figure within the hockey league. These additions join lead actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who portray professional hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.
