Millau implements new educational initiatives and preschool programs
The Millau municipal council has approved several educational initiatives. This includes the renewal of an agreement between the city, the National Education system, and the CAF to maintain a preschool program for children under three years old at the Jean-Henri Fabre school. This program, active since 2015, aims to facilitate a gradual transition into formal schooling.
Additionally, the council approved the deployment of the early childhood center's head chef to lead taste education workshops for primary school students. These sessions will initially take place in three schools, with up to 12 children per workshop held during evening childcare hours.
In a separate motion, council members unanimously adopted a text opposing any school closures and calling for increased state resources for education, following the removal of a class at the Puits-de-Calès school.
