Mille Miglia unveils centenary route for 2027 edition

The centenary edition of the Mille Miglia has been announced, scheduled to take place from May 24 to May 29, 2027. To honor the event's 100-year history, the route will return to its original 1927 spirit by following a loop format and traveling in a counter-clockwise direction.

Starting and ending in Brescia, the six-day journey will traverse various Italian cities and landscapes. The itinerary includes stops in Parma, Florence, and Rome, before heading through the Adriatic coast toward Cervia. The final stages will move through Verona and the Bresciano region, including Valtenesi and Valsabbia, before returning to Brescia.

The event aims to pay tribute to the original founders and legendary figures of the race, such as Tazio Nuvolari. Registrations for the centenary edition are set to open on October 6, 2026.
