Millena Mêndonça to star in ‘Djavan – O Musical’ in São Luís

Actress and singer Millena Mêndonça will perform in ‘Djavan – O Musical: Vidas pra Contar’ at the Teatro Arthur Azevedo in São Luís on September 11, 12, and 13. The production honors the 50-year career of composer Djavan.

Mêndonça, a native of Maranhão, will portray the iconic singer Alcione in the musical. The show, which lasts approximately three hours, explores various stages of Djavan's career through his music, spanning genres such as samba, jazz, and pop. The production is directed by João Fonseca with a script by Patrícia Andrade and Rodrigo França.
