Millenium Brescia joins Città di Sondrio volleyball tournament

Millenium Brescia will participate in the Città di Sondrio tournament, the concluding event of the Valtellina Summer League, following a last-minute invitation. The club was originally scheduled to compete in the Trofeo Mimmo Fusco, but logistical issues led to their withdrawal from that event.

Brescia replaces the Turkish team THY Istanbul, which was forced to withdraw due to international visa issues preventing several athletes from traveling. The tournament features high-level competition, including other Serie A1 Fineco teams: Il Bisonte Firenze, ChorusLife Volley Bergamo 1991, and Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76.

The schedule begins on Saturday, September 19, with a semifinal match between Il Bisonte Firenze and Millenium Brescia at PalaScieghi – Pini in Sondrio at 15:30. A second semifinal between Bergamo and Chieri will follow at 18:00. The finals will take place on Sunday, September 20, with the third-place match in Morbegno and the championship match in Sondrio.
