Millenium Falcon wins Smeralda 888 International Championship 2026

Swiss sailor Marco Favale, helming Millenium Falcon, has secured the Smeralda 888 International Championship 2026. The season concluded in Monaco with the Adalberto Miani Trophy, organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco in partnership with North Sails.

Favale’s victory followed a dominant run that included winning the Primo Cup-Trophée UBS in March, the Coupe de l’Hippocampe in Saint-Tropez, and two events in Sardinia. Charles de Bourbon des Deux Siciles, sailing Vamos Mi Amor, finished the championship in second place.

Nicolo Saidelli and the crew of Bloody Mathilde secured third place overall, despite winning the final regatta in Monaco. The competition featured 16 crews from eight nations across six events held in Monaco, Alassio, Saint-Tropez, and Porto Cervo.
