Miller Bacca signs with Deportes Quindío to chase promotion

Colombian club Deportes Quindío announced the signing of 22‑year‑old striker Miller Bacca ahead of the Torneo BetPlay 2026‑II season. Bacca, a product of Junior de Barranquilla’s youth system and former Barranquilla FC player, joins the team as it pushes for a return to Colombia’s top division.

The forward is the nephew of former national team star Carlos Bacca, but says he wants to build his own career. Deportes Quindío is focusing on young talent to strengthen its squad and compete for the promotion spots in the second‑tier championship.

The club and fans view Bacca’s arrival as a chance to add goals and improve the team’s chances of climbing back to the Primera A.
