Miller Soto: Colombian government spokesperson

Miller Soto, the spokesperson for President Abelardo De la Espriella, has gained attention for his calm and clear communication style regarding government affairs in Colombia.

Soto’s background includes a significant childhood trauma where, at age fifteen, he offered himself to kidnappers to protect his sister from the EPL. During a subsequent rescue operation, he was caught in crossfire, resulting in the permanent loss of mobility in his legs. Observers note that his current composure and ability to explain government announcements without unnecessary aggression are traits that have characterized his personality long before his official appointment.
