Milli Majlis announces agenda for October 13 plenary session

The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has announced the agenda for its next plenary session, scheduled for October 13. The session will address several legislative matters, including international agreements and domestic law amendments.

Key items on the agenda include the approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change regarding Climate Week-4 and the 30th meeting of the Adaptation Committee. Additionally, several agreements with the Kyrgyz Republic are set for discussion, covering alliance relations, international road connections, and amendments to the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund agreement.

The session will also consider a host country agreement with the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization Secretariat. Furthermore, the parliament will review various amendments to existing Azerbaijani laws, including the Civil Code, Customs Code, and regulations concerning police, firearms, hunting, export control, and telecommunications.
